Dr. Ken Banks
Dr. Ken Banks is the founder and Chief Tea Designer of Dr. B’s Beverages, which was established in 2010. A family owned and operated business Dr. B’s operates with one primary focus, healthy beverages made by health professionals.
Graduating from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry was just the beginning of Dr. Banks education and desire to make a difference. He became the first dentist in the state of West Virginia to become accredited with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He served in the WV Air National Guard for 29 years and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He is currently on the Board of Director with Farmers and Mechanics Ins. Co. and is active with non-profit groups in his local area. Ken believes we need to roll our sleeves up, do our best always, live with integrity and touch people’s lives along the way.
Having a shared vision and passion for health and healthy products with his family is the greatest company benefit. Ken’s daughter Sarah Langford, a dental hygienist, and his son Christopher, the younger Dr. B, collaborate and set the direction for Doc’s Tea. It is the right beverage at the right time, “It’s Just What the Doctor Ordered”.
Dr. Christopher Banks
Dr. Christopher is the Chief Creative Officer at Dr. B’s Beverages. A 2011 graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, he maintains his professional qualifications in the dental community and is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Christopher is the creative mind and trendsetter of the company. He has a passion for sharing the story behind the bottle and educating consumers on the health benefits of this product.
Sarah Langford, RDH
As the Chief People Pleaser at Doc’s Tea Sarah strives to develop relationships with current and potential customers. She is proud of a product that her family developed with other people’s health in mind and strives to always be introducing the product to potential buyers. Sarah is a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, division of dental hygiene and has also spent the last 6 years involved in a direct service company, Premier Designs, Inc. where she has learned that service will always exceed selling. Her #1 goal is to maintain that motto at Dr. B’s Beverages.
John Marpole
John “Johnny” Marpole was a friend of the family for many years before joining the Dr. B’s Beverages team. His greatest contribution to the team is striving for perfection. Customers can rest assured that every batch microbrewed is carefully crafted and inspected by our Brewmaster before being put on a truck for delivery.
Johnny resides in Inwood, WV with his wife Annette and their daughter Alexis.
